It's a Good Morning

Well Mandisa sings "It's A Good Morning".  At least they are smiles.

Ella and I head out the door right as Garrett and Seth are getting up.
Seth is my get up and go
Garrett likes to check his phone, drink a little milk and take a little time to
get up and going

Love my boys and miss them so much during the day.
The transition is still taking place with school and work.

The Soon to Be Driver

He completed Driver's Ed.  Not sure why the eyes are closed but it's the only picture his dad took so we will have to roll with it.
Classwork and driving complete.

November 4th is coming.

2 weeks of Happenings

When the rain stopped and the guys could work, wow did they work.
The cement truck has just left our house and they had finished.  The truck is at the house next door.  The kids enjoyed seeing how the cement rolls off the truck and the guys smooth it out to where it needs to be.

 From this .. . . .

Ella's room

A sweet friend of mine who lives in Crismark sent me this picture during the day.  The crane at work.

Roof is on so we headed to visit

Stepping foot into the house for the first time.  All the pictures before were just Jeff and I.  The kids had not seen any since the footings were poured.

7019 Hyde Park is coming along.
We are so grateful and overwhelmed to see this all played out.

We give praise to the Lord for all he has done in our family and blessed us with perfect timing.

January, well hopefully, December can't come soon enough.

The Weddine's are eagerly waiting.

OMC - Hickory Grove Back to School Style

So thrilled to share in the OMC adventure with Jeff

Our Wednesday night Praise Factory started with OMC Family Style.

I was the target for many splashes, splats, and pours

What a fun night.

Update - House

Footing poured - Foundation set - Dirt filled in

Smooth and ready for concrete

All poured and smooth - Ready to go up

Neighbor's house where they were working on concrete

So excited to see the framing begin and real progress where we can "see" the house.

Right now the foundation looks so small.

Ready to SCHOOL

Well Sundays are always Game Mode for me.  Get ready for the week mode.  Run the schedule mode.  Game Face on

So to begin the Game Mode for me I decided to enjoy my favorite, well one of my favorite, desserts.

It has been 9 years since I have worked full time.  We only had 2 kiddos when I worked and both were in preschool.  Yes, busy but not sure entering 3 schools busy.

Here I am Monday Morning, August 26th  - ready to teach 18 little 1st graders.

Can't get Ella's first day photo to load yet.  Will edit soon.

Ella and I enjoying our first Poplin dressed down Friday.  Matching shirts.
How lovely to have her with me in the morning and be able to see her, well I see her once, during the day.

We survived our first week of school.  With tears, fears, unknowns, stomach issues, schedule changes, ending up in the wrong room, up some wee hours of the night, packing 4 lunch boxes, 2 big guys catching the bus, homework, signing loads of paperwork, up early and waking up to a set alarm clock 5 days in a row, stressed out about just about everything, learning lots of rules, procedures and how to do this thing called Public School.

What better way to celebrate than Chick Fil A milkshakes.
Yummo - glad to all be back in the car
The laughs, conversations, and fun that come with being in the Weddine family

Get A Way week end with Dad

It was time to take Seth away for his incredible weekend with his dad.  Jeff decided to go back to the same place he took Garrett since he had such an incredible experience.

The experience was Zip Lining.

This experience and weekend is part of the Passport to Purity program.

Hard to believe the time had come for this sweet boy to go through this program.  Jeff did this with Garrett a year later but we decided to do this with Seth before he entered middle school.  We wanted him to have a sound bases in Truth before hearing other thoughts on the matter at school.

They had an incredible weekend.  Who doesn't like the mountains.

So proud of Seth and his maturity as he learned and spend time with his dad.  So proud of Jeff for leading his family especially his boys.
