God's Glory

"The Heaven's declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Ps. 19:1

Randoms of the past few Weeks

Garrett is back to 3/4 day workouts.  Jeff has been running pretty consistently.  Me not so much but it just so happened this night we all finished at the same time.  Sweaty family.

We have enjoyed the community pool several times.  Seth in his goofiness.

As I sat on the couch one night, here come the two snuggle bugs.  Ella was laying on my lap first.  Gabby decided to join us and found herself a spot.   My lap was full.

I have spent several weeks interviewing for teaching positions.  This is me all dressed and ready for an interview.  This day I had 2 interviews.  The  best part is I landed one of those 2 interviews with a job.  Hip Hip Hooray.

Our townhouse has a deck off the kitchen.  We have had some incredible weather this summer.  Cool and highs in the 80s most days.  My kind of evening.  The reflection in the window is wonderful.

Love a daddy and his daughter hand and hand

Birthday girl working on 3 of her Lego Friends sets.

Dippin French fries in a milkshake - she has just started doing this

yes, my brain is in full mode of classroom and teaching - not my classroom just sneaking into other teachers on my grade level.

Back seat is the best when you are in the middle of these two.

House Update

Lot was cleared.  Then the rains came and came.  This caused builders to dig to find dry dirt.

5 feet later dry was found.  They have hauled in more dry dirt.

And yet still it has rained and rained.  Wet again.

Finished project - Level - dry - sun is out and ready for footings.

Belk's KidFest

Ella was asking again to model a Fall Outfit in the Fall Belk's KidFest.

This was her 3rd time so no fear at all.

Ms. Sunshine interviewing her about her "favorites" she filled out on her paper.

After the interview portion, she headed to the stage for the outfit modeling.

Happy 7th Birthday Ella Bella

Ella turned 7 on August 3rd.  My oh my.  Where does the time go?  I know we all say it about our kids but it is so true.

Time flies.

Our new neighborhood is full of photo spots.  We dressed up and headed out to see what we could find.

I loved these close ups.  Snaggletooth Ella

Ella had two parties - family and friends

This is the family party at the meme and papas lake house.

Friend time at Noni's pool

My kids request big chocolate chips cookies for their "cake".  So I have purchased a huge circle pan that has come in handy.

Happy Birthday Sweet girl.

CentriKid Camp for Seth and Mom

In the middle of the move, Seth and I took off to camp for 5 days.  Last camp as a kid.  We headed to Ridgecrest for Lifeway's CentriKid camp.
Once we arrived, the kids had to line up shortest to tallest.  Out of 80 or so kids, Seth was the 3rd tallest.  Yep, following in his brother's height.

Our view all week.  Who doesn't love the mountains and the views.  God truly speaks to me in these moments and makes me realize what a small part in the world I really am.

 Seth's roomies for the week.
Yes, I enjoyed this rocking chair on a few occasion during the week.
Loved the hugs he shared with me during the week.  He would search me out and find me to tell me good morning, hello or good night.  Not ashamed to show his mom love.

This was the group of 4th grade girls that I was blessed to be small part of their life for a few days.  Blessed by their kindness, helpfulness, and love to learn more about God.

The watches were the cool thing to buy at camp.

Seth enjoying Kitchen Chaos.

CentiKid camp is know for OMC.  These are the leaders that enjoyed the fun of OMC.

When you step out to serve, even if you think I don't have time, I don't have anything to offer, and questioning so many things, step out and serve.  God will show up and show off to you in many ways.  Incredible group of leaders who brought support, prayer and love to this stressed out momma who is packing up a house and moving in the middle of all of this.

Birthday Treat Bags

We blessed in our family to have Aunt Peggy.  She can sew anything.

This all started when I couldn't find Littlest Pet Shop Birthday stuff without ordering it online.  I was passed the order and get here in time date.  We decided to let Peggy help us sew our bags.

Ella was in charge of the peddle.  She would take off.

Her other favorite part was pushing the button to sew backwards.

Ella and Moe's

One of Ella favorite things to eat is chips and queso.

Jeff had a lunch catered from Moe's.  Left over chips mean one thing

BRING TO ELLA
She couldn't believe the size of the bag of chips.

She ate them all (not in one day) but we as a family finished this bag of chips.
