Biltmore House, Friends and Christmas Card

We headed to the Biltmore House on Wednesday with our friends who live in Asheville.

After touring the home, I attempted to take pictures for our Christmas card.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012

I carried my camera and phone to lunch and dinner.  This is the only picture I took.

We have lunch with my side of the family.  We come home for a few hours for me to cook a few other things then head to Jeff's side for dinner.

We are so blessed to live close to our family.

As the season approached, I kept reading Psalms 100

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

Monroe Christmas Parade

Mrs. Bonita has a float in the Monroe Christmas Parade for the Nutcracker Cast.

We have lots of projects going on around here most of the time.

My dad has been building bird houses. Mom has been painting them.

Happy 14th

We spent Garrett's 14th Birthday in Nashville at a hockey tournament.

We celebrated with the team on Nov. 3rd during the team dinner.  

His hockey friends made him a little party hat out of the kids menu.

Playing in the Championship game on November 4th.

What a fun way to spend your day by doing or playing your favorite thing.

He was thrilled.

A DQ blizzard on the 7 hour trip home to celebrate the day.

Dear Garrett,

What an incredible young man you are becoming.  You bring joy and laughter to our family.  To see the changes you have done in the past few years, make me realize you are becoming a young man.

I am so blessed to be at home with you each day.  You amaze me in your schooling how "easy" you make learning.  You don't stress out about assignments, grades, or projects.  You are an incredible teacher to your siblings.  The order that God chose to send the children into our family fits perfectly.  You encourage and teach them daily.  I love how you include them.  

You make us, as your parents, very proud. 

Continue to strive, push forward and smile along the way.

Your future is bright.

Tooth

After a month of dangling, the 2nd front tooth is out.

Losing teeth is a BIG chore for this little lady.

So excited for her.
