Fun Outside

Daddy jumping, well tumbling and wrestling, with Ella on the trampoline.

Sweetness

Rolling, rolling, rolling

Seth waiting for the frisbee

Love the face and the motion

There's that face again - intense

From the backyard to the front yard, throwing the football.  We invited Gabby to join us.

She loves being outside.  There are so many people to chase

Try #2

He never caught it after 4 tries.

The pig face

Always fun around here.

Finally pictures of Seth playing Hockey

Seth was running around with 2 of his team members and their brother Saturday morning waiting for their game.  I couldn't help looking at all their ZigTech's.  The green, red and blue shoes are brothers.  I thought is was too cute.  Ella calls them ZigZags

Waiting for the puck in warm ups

Got to love the hustle
Warm ups

He loves being center - face off

Already set and ready for the puck to drop

Face off again

 Go Seth Go!

Against the boards - Seth is right in the pile

Waiting for the puck again on the face off - Love the look in his face

He loves to play this game.  I just told Jeff that I think it is funny that Seth is a different child on the ice.  He is so sweet off the ice then when the uniform goes on hustle, passion, a little aggressive and the intensity comes.  Way to go Seth

Days off for Jeff

I love when Jeff has days off.  It is so nice to have him at home with us.  He had 3 days left to take before his new work year in February.  So he decided to take Thursday, Friday and Monday.  WHEW!! WHO!!  Love it.

So this post is brag on Daddy post.  Since I usually talk about the kids.

I am sitting in here typing as Jeff is cleaning up the supper dishes.  He has already unloaded the dishwasher.  Now he is reloading.  He is washing by hand the big items.  Love it.

Tonight is Movie Night.  For the past four weeks, we have been checking out movies from the library.  Everybody gets there own movie.  Including Jeff and I.  We watch, just the two of us.  It may take us 3 hours to watch one movie due to the little interruptions but that okay.

I just love this man.  He does a lot for our family.  He always pitches in to help me.  He has begun to realize all the little things that speak volumes to me.  He keeps me grounded and tells me like it is.  He calls me out when I need calling out.  He washing clothes and dishes.  Folds clothes and puts them away.

What an incredible dad he is.  He is truly bringing his children up with the challenge God has for every man that has a family.  Since he is home, he did our Walk Thru the Bible lesson today.  He leads us in Family Prayer each night.

We are always laughing when dad is around.  He keeps us on our toes.  Nevery a dull moments even for us serious minded people, Amy and Seth.  We don't much like to be picked on or just go crazy but dad always makes us laugh.

Plenty of hugs and kisses for everyone.  He just gets giddy when Ella is around.  But he can change very quickly from gentle giant to tough man for the boys.  The tickle monster love to find the tickle spots.

So we love the days Jeff is home with us.  We are learning to just stay home.  Which is hard for me but I enjoy my and our time at home.

Thanks dad for jumping into our world the past two days
Homeschooling, co-op, laundry, breakfast, lunch and supper, dishes, Gabby watch, and all the other things that come with our family.

We love you too!!  So proud of my man!

Where does time go?

"Mom, I not ready!!" says Ella.
I liked the picture though since it shows her room when she was 4.

Garrett was hanging out in the hallway.  The boy is just so handsome (when he wants to be)  This boy doesn't think that wearing nice clothes, wearing deo, washing his face, combing his hair and tieing his shoes is of any importance.  He just like to make himself comfortable.  When he asked to wear this to co-op today, I was floored.  Really, you want to look nice.

I thought Ella looked so big.  She is not a little toddler anymore.  She is becoming a little big girl.  She loves these black boots.  She doesn't like many shoes but these don't bother her.  Her skirt has hearts on it.  Gearing up for Valentine's.  I love when she lets me braid her hair.

So where does the time go?  It seems like yesterday that I was a new mom trying to figure this all out.  Not that I have it all figured out but I sure do know more than I did 12 years ago.  The kids have been so sweet to each other the past few days.  Playing together, helping each other fix lunch or supper, saying thank you to each other, laughing at each other, praying well wishes over each other and life is good.

Sign Language Class

For the past three weeks we have been learning sign language.  Fun, Fun.  We have learn and laughed.  The best part is that we have been able to do it as a family (since it takes all three of us to remember the signs) haha.  I have learned from my friend Alisa that sign language can count for High School Foreign Language credits.  How cool is that?

Thought I would post since Ella just signed that she wants French Fries for supper.

We learned foods, family and household items

I love to expose our children to different things to see where they grab and hold on.  We will see where this goes.

We have officially made Friday Night "Movie Night"

We haven't really done Family Movie Night.  We are making this each person enjoy their own movie.  Jeff and I find a movie we can watch and the kids find one or two they can watch.  It has been nice to be home on Friday nights.  It seems to make the weekend longer.  We have to be at the ice rink by 7:00am on Saturday mornings so this makes us stay at home and get to bed early.  Garrett and Seth both play on Saturday mornings.

Also, Garrett plays Select games this weekend.  That means games Saturday morning, then Saturday night and Sunday Morning (6:30 am) by the way

So the PJ's are on and supper will begin shortly.  Movie are set.  We are ready.
