We are heading to the Checkers game. Each player received 2 tickets to the first home game of the AHL Charlotte Checkers. The team is one tier under the NHL. They also are the affliate of the Carolina Hurricanes. The level of play jumped about 4 notches.
We are on the Lynx train riding to uptown.
Ella is into reading the signs.
We got off the train at the arena. Walked a couple of blocks. We ate at FUEL pizza. Yummy.
Ella eating her cinnamon knots. No pizza for her. Dessert first.
The offical dropping of the pucks. The center tall guy is Rob Brendamore from the Hurricanes.
The hockey horn going off. GOAL!! Ella thought is was too loud.

We love hockey at our house.
After this home, bed and back to the ice rink by 9:30 until 12:20 for practice for both boys.
