Still Cold

It is still freezing here.  My favorite chore is going out with the dog.  Yikes.  Thanks goodness Jeff is home on the weekend during the day.  He helps take over the potty break.  No fun to stand and wait.

Seth and Garrett both got a calendar for birthday and Christmas.  It is 365 mini paper airplanes.  Seth loves paper airplanes.  He has completed several paper airplane books.

So here is the collection so far.  He gets up each morning at 6:30 to fold paper airplanes with dad.  When I come into the kitchen, he is folding the airplane of the day. His school desk is beginning to get full of airplanes.

He loves to collect things.  He has a display.  I think after 365 of these, we will have a problem.  I am going to get him a rubbermaid container to have a safe place to keep them.

Garrett and Jeff's day started at 6:00 with a 7:50am hockey practice this morning.  Thank goodness deer season is over.  I got to stay home with the other ones and not get out in the cold.  After practice, they came home and got dressed for Dove Hunting.

Garrett got a new gun for his birthday that he has not been able to shoot yet.  He was very excited.  Unfortunately, they only saw 1 bird.  May I remind you it is in the 20's.  Crazy people sit in fields and wait to see one bird.  HAHA.  They did carry a thermos of hot chocolate.  Smart thinking Daddy!

While they were gone, the other ones built a tent in Ella's room.  My children love a tent.  Seth and Ella enjoy playing dress up, making tents, and the new thing is baby and daddy.  Ella has been begging for a passie.  Don't think I will even start that again.

Welcome to the land of blog! What a beautiful family you have! I have a son who dreams of being a pilot someday ... I will be searching for the paper airplane calendar in Hong Kong!
Blessings from Hong Kong,
