Cold! Cold! Cold!

I know that some of you are in shock.  I missed a post yesterday.  I have been under the weather for the past day.  I am feeling a little better.  We even came home from co-op early yesterday I was feeling so bad.  I laid on the couch most of the day.  I couldn't wait for Jeff to get home.  It is nearly impossible to be a mom of 3 kids and be sick when all your children are at home with you.  The boys did help.  Ella did take a nap.  It is kinda nice to be inside though.  It is amazing how cold it is here.  If it is going to be this cold then I would like to request some SNOW!

So there are no pictures from yesterday except for the ones of Ella below.  Jeff was at home to take the pictures.  Ella spent her time snuggled under the blanket with me most of the day.  Her new thing to do is "sneak" her brother's DSi.  It doesn't matter which brother.  Which ever brother has theirs laying around.  It is hilarious.  All of sudden you will hear, "ELLA, GIVE ME BACK MY DS".  The funny thing is that she knows exactly how to turn it on and play games, take pictures, play music and scroll the bar.

Her favorite game is Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.  She can say it just like the game.

This morning I was still not up to par but we did accomplish somethings.  Ella painted her toast.

The containers have milk and food coloring in them.  She paints with a brush.

This was the finished product before we put it in the toaster.

Ready to eat.  I was amazed that it worked.  We did it at church for Children's Church on Sunday a few month ago.  She never lets me forgot about it.  It is really cool.  Even the boys have painted toast.

It is amazing how much laundry I do at our house.  If I miss one day, watch out the next.  Since I didn't feel good yesterday, I was trying to catch up.  Garrett is folding his laundry.  The boys fold their own underwear, PJ's, t-shirts and socks.  Its not too bad.  He is watching TV as he folds.  It takes him 30 minutes since he watches and folds.

One of Garrett's assignments this week was a storytelling of any classic story.  He chose Jack and the Beanstalk.  He had to listen to it being told, print the real story to read, collect and make his props.  Today was performance day.  He asked Seth be Jack.

I had a great video of the whole performance.  I was going to learn to post a video but as Ella was reviewing the clip, she deleted all my videos.  I guess we will have TAKE 2 and try again.  It was really great.  Even at one point Ella become the giant.  Too cute.  I love when they work together and get along.  It does happen.  At co-op, Mrs. Carmen has talked about how the world thinks and wants siblings to not like each other and "hate" each other.  The Bible calls siblings to help each other and get along.  In these moments, God shows up and it is grand.  I think they will remember this moment.
