School and the Wii Bowling Tournament

Garrett was the only one with school today.

Seth took his "Birthday Day Off" day.  No Seth but his desk was ready.

I also started some "school" with Ella.   We did calendar.  Sang a few preschool songs.  Even Garrett joined in to sing.  Then we colored, worked on rhyming words and tracing.

It is still cold here.  The boys take over the garage to play hockey.  They keep the garage door closed so it is not too cold.  Ella loves Candy Land.  She and I played.  She always makes it to King Candy before I do.  She is good.

Seth was our grape washer for supper.  He picked each grape so that we could wash them and get them ready to eat.

Ella is at Noni and Papa's house to spend the night.  She called and invited herself.  It is amazing what we can do at our house without a 3 year old at home.  Our Wii is working again.  Yeah!  We forgot how much we enjoyed playing.  We had a bolwing tournament.  Garrett made our brackets.

(You may be wondering what the R.I.P. things are behind Garrett.  Well these are words he can't use in his writing.  Ex.  Like, Big, Get, Let.  He has to use 5th grade words instead.  So the R.I.P's are words that we buried with the date.  Below the words are the 5th grade words he can use to replace the little words.  Kinda like a theasarus hanging on the wall.  I knew you would wonder.  We are not that crazy in our homeschooling.:)

Boys are really competitive.  It is amazing how much smack they talk to each other.  They really like to mess the other person up as they bowl.  Wow!  Thank goodness God sent us a girl so that we have alittle balance around the house.

Garrett is classified as a "pro" bowler on the Wii.  He has a special ball to play the game.  Well the tournament just finished and the champion is "J-Dub" Daddy.

I think I have failed to mention in my earlier post but all we see lately is the top of Jeff's head.  You want to know the reason why:   A Blackberry.  He loves it.  He was so nice to get one for me for our anniversary back in May.  He is the worker so I know he had a hard time trying to understand why I wanted one.  His company finally broke over and purchased one for him.  He loves it.

Did I say he loves it.  It is in his hand or attached to his hip at all times except for bedtime.  Thank goodness.  He deserves it.  It is really the only way to do business now.  Well it does make doing business easier.
