Needed a little Cheering Up

I realized today that our house needed a little cheering up. Valentines is right around the corner and I had nothing up.  How sad is that?  I need to change the wreath on my front door but that's it?  It felt good to have the creative juices flowing.

Since I was a school teacher in my former life, I pulled out the Valentines books

A little cheer for the table

The children are going to make Valentines  All the supplies to get started.  I am on the hunt for little mailboxes for each one of us to add to the table

I thought we needed a reminder of the message God has for us in the Bible.

We are going to countdown the rest of the days until Valentine's.  We do this for Christmas.  Each day they will pull a slip of paper with the task for the day.

As we pull each card, I will try to post about each day so you can see what the cards say.  I love this.  I feel much better knowing that our house looks a little more ready to celebrate Valentines.
